Wang to lead Ideal biz dev in China
Ideal Industries, Sycamore, Ill., announced the appointment of Christopher Wang as Country Manager, China. In this role, Wang will be responsible for developing business and strategy in the Chinese market for Ideal electrical and data communications products, except for those of Anderson Power Products, an Ideal subsidiary. He will report directly to Jim James, Ideal president and CEO, and will have direct responsibility for Ideal employees stationed in the company’s Shanghai and Beijing offices.
Wang comes to Ideal from Honeywell Lonon Electrical System Technology in the Guangdong Province where he served as Deputy General Manager. Prior to that, he held several executive positions of increasing responsibility within Tida Lighting Group, a major lighting fixture supplier of IKEA worldwide, according to Ideal’s announcement.
