Nicor Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., has appointed VP Sales Co., Westlake, Ohio, to cover Ohio. Thomas Petty, president of VP Sales, will be responsible for the sales and brand positioning of Nicor I products in Ohio. In other news at Nicor, Kennedy Williams has joined the company as marketing coordinator/graphic designer.

WSJ picks top clean-technology companies
The Wall Street Journal posted a list of top clean-technology companies based on its search for “green companies that have the capital, executive experience and investor know-how to succeed in an increasingly crowded field.” Top three are Solyndra Inc., Fremont, Calif.; Suniva Inc., Norcross, Ga.; and eSolar Inc., Pasadena, Calif.
