Rep News: Myers & Associates names Ragle to sales management post
Myers & Associates Electrical Sales (Norman, Okla.): Clint Ragle, LEED AP, is the new director of medium voltage sales for the state of Oklahoma. He will direct all agency efforts for the industrial division of Copper Power Systems, DSG Canusa, Olsun Electrics and Pencell Plastics. Specific product responsibility includes medium-voltage transformers, switches, capacitors, terminations, and wire & cable. Ragle’s client base will include engineers, contractors, distributors and end users.
Schroeder joins Prime Devices to cover Chicago metro & Rockford
Prime Devices Corp. (Glenview, Ill.): Gary Schroeder joined the company on Dec. 5, and is now covering the city of Chicago, its north suburbs and the Rockford area. He brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience with SimplexGrinnell, McDaniel Fire Systems and LaMarCo Systems. He has a BA in marketing management from Aurora University.
Tower Manufacturing appoints new reps for portable GFCIs
Tower Manufacturing Corp., Providence, R.I., recently appointed the following rep agencies to sell its Tower brand of portable GFCI products to electrical distributors: Quad-Tech Sales Inc., New Holland, Pa., for eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland; VGL Resources Group, Lakeside Marblehead and Germantown, Ohio, for Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky; J.R. Gorman & Associates, Highland, Mich., for Michigan; L.F. Paasch & Associates, Manitowoc, Wis., for Wisconsin; and Kopintiz Co., Houston, for Texas.
ElectroRep to rep Southwire and Klein Tools for mining markets in western U.S.
Electrorep, Inc., Sausalito, Calif., is expanding into the mining market in the western U.S. and has entered into agreements with Southwire Co. and Klein Tools to act as their sales rep servicing the mining companies in this region. ElectroRep will initially focus on the mining markets in Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada, and the company has employed a sales resource based in the Denver area to help expand their presence in the mining market.
“We see the mining market as an excellent source for diversity and growth within our organization, we are committed to this investment for the long term and will build the premier outsourced field sales model for this marketplace over the next three years,” said Kelly Boyd, the company’s president. “Electrorep will call on end users in the mines as well as traditional mining distribution companies and/or electrical distribution serving the mines. We see a lot of synergy between what have learned in 51 years of selling to the electrical channel being very applicable to the mining markets, and we are looking forward to the challenge of breaking new ground for our company and the companies that we represent.”

General Cable has appointed Blomquist, Densley & Young (BDY) as its rep for the Utah, southwest Wyoming, northeast Nevada and southern Idaho territories. BDY has served the electrical wholesale distribution market in this region for 30 years.
ILSCO appoints Davenport & Associates as rep in Tennessee
ILSCO, Cincinnati, has appointed Davenport & Associates Inc., an eight-person independent manufacturers’ rep based in Nashville, to represent the ILSCO brand of electrical connectors in eastern Tennessee. Davenport & Associates was established in 1979.
Bergen signs on Denver’s Electrical Lines as rep for Colorado & Wyoming
Bergen Industries Inc., Las Vegas, recently appointed Electrical Lines LLC, Denver, as its new rep for Colorado and Wyoming. For more than 38 years, Bergen has manufactured electrical safety products, including temporary lighting, tube guards, replacement cages and lamp holders in the United States. During the past few years, Bergen has been expanding its line of products adding: 400W temporary high-bay (B-Lite), vapor-tight enclosures, fixture whips, lenses and ballast kits. Incorporated in 1960, Electrical Lines says it’s the distinction of being the longest-standing electrical agency in Denver.
Universal Lighting Technologies names new Canadian reps
Universal Lighting Technologies added two manufacturers rep agencies to its sales network in Canada’s eastern provinces. As of Aug. 1, Vigilant Technical Sales, Ltd., will represent Universal in Newfoundland and Labrador, and Carrtech Sales, Ltd., will represent the company in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edwards Island.
Bergen Industries appoints new reps
Bergen Industries Inc., Las Vegas, Nev., a manufacturer of temporary lighting, tube guards and electrical accessories has recently appointed two new representatives. J.F. Nolan & Associates, New Berlin, Wis., will work closely with distribution in Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan. Also, newly appointed Rouzer Sales Co. will represent Bergen in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the western part of Wisconsin.
